5 + 1 swap

Hi there! I’m so excited to announce the very first card swap hosted by Our Craft Lounge! Come join us for some fun and fantastic art!

My name is Heather McNally. I am thrilled to be a member of the Design Team for OCL, and also to be organizing this swap for my friends. Swaps are a super fun way to get some cards for your “stash”, gather ideas for layouts, color combinations, and “ways to use” fun embellishments, and also a way to see the images of some OCL sets you may not have!

What to make:
Please make full cards. Any standard card size is acceptable. You can make the cards for any occasion.

Quantity:
5 +1. You will design one card, and make 6 total of that design. I will be swapping your 5 cards for 5 different cards. You will not receive one of your cards back, so please be sure to make yourself one. The “plus 1” will remain with Our Craft Lounge and may be used as samples to showcase their stamps. You will send in 6 cards (5+1) and will receive 5 different cards back.

Requirements:
• Use any Our Craft Lounge stamp/stamp sets as the focal image
• Full cards
• A minimum of 2 layers using good quality cardstock
• At least one embellishment
• Any additional embellishments, layers, patterned paper, etc. are optional

Sign up:
Must sign up by June 22nd
You can sign up as many times as you wish. You MUST design a different card for each spot you sign up for. So, if you sign up twice, you will be designing 2 different cards, making 5+1 of each design.

Due to me:
All swaps must be received by me by July 13th, 2009.

Mailing instructions:
Place your swaps in a re-sealable plastic bag (for waterproofing purposes). Please write your name and e-mail address either on your bag (with a Sharpie) or on a piece of paper inside your bag for identification purposes. Mail to:

Returning the swaps:
Please enclose a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) in your package. The amount of postage should be equal to the amount of postage you used to send the original package to me. Please include an extra stamp inside your package in case it is needed. If it is not needed, I will return it to you. Your cards will be returned to you in the same plastic bag you sent yours in so that they return to you nice and clean and waterproof.

Anyone have a set they would like to have me do for the swap..... I was thinking if I have one that not everyone has then I could do that one... otherwise it might be sandy sketches. (others are Kona, bubbles, and flying birthday)

I don't have any preference either! I'd say, pick a favorite, or pick one that inspires you!! I haven't decided yet, but I've been IN-LUB with Life's a Beach, Sandy Sunsets, and You Nailed It, and Beauty and the Beach and Summer Treats and....... the list goes on and on!!

Running a bit behind on this one!! Really struggled with my mojo the past few weeks (too much outside stress ) Anyhow.... I designed my card yesterday and will be mailing them off early next week!! Can't wait to see what everyone creates!!!
